Personally, I started as one of those skeptics. I think a lot of people who purchase ab belts get let down because they expect to lost 20 pounds off their mid-section and have their beach body ready to go in six or seven weeks. I hate to be the one to break it to ya but that isn’t going to happen using an ab belt.
Ab belts do work, but you need to understand what they’re capable of.
Ab belts are not great weight loss devices. If you’re carrying around a lot of extra weight on your tummy then you’re going to need to make some other lifestyle changes besides just using an ab belt to get a flat and tone tummy.
Improve diet as well as some good cardiovascular exercise (walking, jogging, biking, swimming etc.) are good additions to using your abdominal belt 4 or 5 times a week. This will ensure you’re burring off some of your excess weight while you’re also toning and firming those abs.
